Chingford
Introduction to branch
Chingford on the edge of Epping Forest has good public transport services. Chingford branch is small and friendly and keen to recruit new members to its art history course. The venue has good parking facilities.
We are a group of people interested in the visual arts with a particular focus on 19th, 20th and 21st centuries. In the past we have had some really outstanding teaching and learning experiences as we explored themes or the work of individual artists. Our studies have always included gallery visits supported by the tutor.
Our sessions are characterised by input from a tutor, questions to clarify ideas and lively discussions expressing thoughts and views. All this happens in a friendly, good humoured atmosphere.
From September we will be studying Sculpture at the suggestion of one of our group members.
The WEA is committed to promoting equality and diversity. All are Welcome.
