“The South East London Shared Services Partnership has worked closely with the WEA to offer a number of courses to staff from Lewisham, Southwark and Lambeth Primary Care Trusts. The courses focus on improving basic skills for studying and communicating effectively, as well as helping students to think more clearly about where they might direct their learning in the future.

 

Developing useful skills is not the only outcome for those who attend; students also gain a great deal of confidence in their abilities. These courses lay the foundation for further learning, often acting as a catalyst to renew an interest in life-long learning, whether academic or otherwise. In this regard our partnership with the WEA provides an invaluable resource”.
